Advocating for programs that fit our kids' unique needs like International Baccalaureate, Language Immersion, STEM, CATS, Crossroads, ASEC, CCTL, afterschool enrichment, and athletics/intramurals
A significant portion of I-SS funding comes from grants and community support. As a businesswoman and community organizer, I have extensive experience and success in fundraising. I will roll up my sleeves and work with the I-SS leadership and our County Commissioners to find creative ways to support these initiatives.
Independent leaders set aside ideology to put our kid's education above self-interests.
Billie is an independent thinker who will make informed decisions that put our kids first and represent our collective interests. She will engage with parents and educators through outreach, listening, and being active in our schools and community. Her purpose is to nurture an environment and programming that fosters kids' love of learning while building life skills and confidence.
